The tree itself is good for the price. Unfortunately the base is extremely flimsy --- a spoke broke as we assembles the tree. While deciding what to do the arm with the broken spoke itself snapped and the tree toppled over. How you are supposed to meet the suppliers return conditions once you have unpacked and assembled the tree is impossible and with the added cost of postage we will just write this off to experience. I would not recommend this product.

So the tree is not a pop up as described but its not difficult to put up. The screws don't go right in so it's a bit flimsy which is OK for me as I live alone but wouldn't recommend if you've got kids or animals at home who may touch the tree.
